Re: NYB corner blocks…. Fold or mark the block, once diagonally. Stitch 1/8” on both sides of the fold. The bias is stabilized as a result. (Hint from Alex during her ‘basket class’ 5 or so years ago!)

my arc on block 2 must have stretched as it would not fit to arc C without tiny pleats. B C and A went on nicely. And the block was wonky because of arcs.
Is there a rule for placing patterns on fabric as to straight of grain? Should I stay...

I am having a very hard time navigating this website. I am trying to find Dee's NY Beauty Class #3. The only Classes that come up are Class #1 and Class #2. Please give me a detailed step-by-step way to find Class #3. Thanks.

This is a "Choose Your Own Adventure" class, so no two quilts will be the same!

To make a quilt similar in size to the one in the image above (34 x 34 inches), Dee recommends that you have :
1.5 yards or 10-12 fat quarters of low volume light fabrics for your quilt background
2.5 yards or 12-18 fat quarters for paper piecing and spikes
To make a larger quilt, you will (of course!) need additional fabrics.

No pattern purchase is[/b] necessary- the block patterns will be available as a FREE download when the class begins.[/b]
