Game On! - BOM 2026 - Month 2

All documentation for Month 2 of Game On! will be available here under the Patterns/Documents Tab.  All videos can be found under the Videos Tab. In Month 2 you will be working on the Center Medallion Corners.

Becky will be posting educational videos and Barbara Black will post to her blog additional information to support the creation of the quilt. In addition to this, Barbara will be hosting monthly Facebook LIVE / YouTube LIVE videos with helpful information for successfully creating the quilt. These videos will be found where appropriate in this classroom.

The Forum will have tips from other TQS members making this quilt and posting their progress.  Be sure to download and print the patterns each month - even if you are not making the quilt.

Game On!  patterns are available to all Star Members and will only be available on the The Quilt Show site through 2026. After that, no pattern downloads will be available.

I'm working on Month Two, Block Two, and I am going to be short on the Gray Blue with Dots (for pieces 5 and 6). I tried very hard to cut frugally, but it still will missing the last piece for the last quarter of this block. I will try to find...

I'm working on Month Two, Block Two, and I am going to be short on the Gray Blue with Dots (for pieces 5 and 6). I tried very hard to cut frugally, but it still will missing the last piece for the last quarter of this block. I will try to find the fabric somewhere else on-line, or I will have to substitute something else. I am very disappointed, since this is the first BOM I have done where I ordered the fabric from TQS.

Any other suggestions? Now I'm worried that I may have been shorted on other fabric.

When will I get the additional fabric "Leafy Scroll" that I need to complete month 2? I made two corners with the fabric originally provided. I was informed that it would be sent out but no date that I should receive it.

The Month 2 pattern template for "Part three of six" has a reference on one side of the page of Block 2 and the other side as Block 3. I'm assuming the Block 3 reference is a typo since each is identical to the other and all other references on...

The Month 2 pattern template for "Part three of six" has a reference on one side of the page of Block 2 and the other side as Block 3. I'm assuming the Block 3 reference is a typo since each is identical to the other and all other references on the pattern pages are for Block 2. I haven't found this mentioned elsewhere, but certainly could've missed it.

I have the print kit. So we are supposed to cut out of the Leafy Scroll fabric 4= 4/34 by 12 and, 4= 4/34 by 13. I don't think there is enough of that fabric to do that for the 3 and 4 numbered pieces. I measure only 4 pieces can be cut out...

So I'll have to substitute something else. Also, won't cutting 8 in total for the 5 & 6 Gray Blue with Dots, and the 7 & 8 Granny's Apron Blue, be the same problem? I can get 4, but not 8 total.
What am I missing?

curious about "corners" or "points" 7 or 8 not shown. Are they copies of previous work, or omitted as we can't access from Block 1 or 2 pages, Patterns stop after block 6. Thanks.

@karenschwitzner I think I understand what you are seeing. At first glance, I also thought that there were eight segments for the four corners - two each as I’ve experienced with other patterns. But the way this one is constructed there are four corner units each that takes six pieces cut from paper/vellum to form the full corner. Look at the six different patterns carefully some you print four copies, some less ( because more pieces fit on the page). So there are six pattern pages to make each of the four corners if that makes sense.
