My comment was in no way SPAM! it was none other than a critique about the pattern I purchased for $270.
I guess it is high time that i discontinue my subscription to The Quilt Qhow.

Donita, I don’t know what your comment was. The website has a way of identifying things as spam that are clearly not. Probably some AI nonsense.

If it makes you feel better, several times my replies on these pages are “identified as spam” and never post, very frustrating.

My apologies, I must be missing something somewhere, for Block 1, I can only find cutting instructions for the solid fabric. Where do we find which fabric to use for the printed version?

Okay, so we're suppose pick and choose fabrics, it's not stated for the printed fabrics which to use, is that correct? That means I have to think more ... ha

I have the printed fabric version and under BOM Block 1 the cutting instructions for the Scrappy Fabric just says follow the cutting instructions above...(etc). I can figure out the colored fabrics to follow the similar color noted for the solids but with all the whites with the different tone on tone designs, am I supposed to use whatever one I want or is there a specific one to use each time there's white fabric?

Hello! In the instructions, Becky suggests washing the fabrics prior to use. I typically do not wash my fabrics, what is your suggestion?

I don’t usually pre-wash my fabrics. Finished quilts are washed with color catchers. The Solid Kit fabrics that I am using are working beautifully.

I usually don’t wash my fabrics either but I’m a big believer in if I take a class I follow the instructions of the teacher, so I did.
I purchased the solids kit.

There was shrinkage, sometimes up to 1/2 inch, will I still have enough fabric to finish this project? Is there extra wiggle room if I make a mistake?
TIA

How thick should those be: I’ve seen 4mil and 10mil. Thank you!

Sorry, I meant to ask about the self-laminating sheets.

The Supply list says "heavy duty", I don't know what thickness that is. I didn't use it.

Where can I find the self laminating sheets? I don’t see them in the Shop.
Thanks!
