I want to paper piece the dogtooth border. You talk about drawing your own. Can I use the downloadable pattern instead!

hahaha! I have done that. All I know is at the office where I work, there are quilt patterns all over the place.

For making the stems, Mary K Buckley has an accompaniment to her Perfect Circles and Perfect Leaves, known as Perfect Stems and from personal experience I find thls works very well also.

Somehow I missed the boat on what size fabrics will be used for backgrounds, what fat quarters will be used for and lastly the little squares? I don't want to cut into a piece and ruin it for a later design.

The 10” squares in the Kit are for the vases. The gray/white stripe 1 3/8 yd is for the outer Diamond borders. The dark blue 5/8 yd is binding—mine is marked Binding. Every thing else is entirely up to you.

Can Print & Piece Fuse Lite be printed on a laser printer or does it have to be printed on an ink jet printer?

Laser printer cannot print on any paper sensitive to heat. I believe it would melt the Print & Piece Fuse.

Fun project, Thank you for all of the info sheets and videos....really helps the process.
Any chance we could have a "list" for each each month of how many fabric bits?
Would make it a bit easier to gather up fabric from stash and set them aside....

I agree, it is sad that the instructions are "make them all and sew them on." I am going to try and make a plan, even though I'm not restrained by the kit fabrics, I'd like to be able to have an idea of where its all being used.
