UPDATE:  The pattern for A to Z for Ewe and Me is available from the designer, Janet Stone. The pattern comes as a flash drive that you can use with most computers so that you can view and/or print only the pages you need. Also included is a printed color sample page of the fabrics and threads used in the quilt. The price is $60 including domestic shipping. Contact Janet @ ABCquilter@gmail.com.

The Quilt Show presents A to Z for Ewe and Me, the latest quilt in prizewinning quilter Janet Stone's 26-quilt alphabet series. Designed exclusively for members of TQS, the 69"x 82" quilt is a playful yet sophisiticated sampler. Each letter in the alphabet has its own panel, where it's combined with a related pieced or appliqued block. Make one for the child in your life, or make one for the child in you!

Meet Janet Stone

Janet Stone has been quilting for about 14 years, but things really took off for her in 2006 when she bought herself a Bernina. Janet has always loved writing, simply for the joy of making letters. In 2008, she made her first quilt featuring letters of the alphabet and entered it in a show. The quilt took first place, and since then Janet has committed to making 26 alphabet quilts, one for every letter of the alphabet, and entering competitions. Janet is also known for her love of sheep, and they often appear alongside the letters in her quilts.

Janet's quilts have won numerous major awards in both national and international competition. In 2012, she was inducted into the National Quilting Association's Master Quilt Guild for her quilt Red Letter Daze. Most recently, her quilt A Letter Bit of Baaltimore was awarded the 2013 Founder’s Award at the International Quilt Association's World of Beauty contest in Houston, Texas.
