Gina Perkes' Ruler Mastery Series Lesson 09 - The Rose Ruler

Gina demonstrates starting the feather with spine using the small June Ruler. The plumes here are created with The Rose Ruler, starting from the bottom you will work up one side and down the other. The etch line on the ruler is held parallel to the spine on the opposite side. Gina demonstrates creating the plumes in multiple sizes and creating the top of the plume. Gina shares a variety of ways the plume can be stitched with free-motion quilting for added dimension.
