Annie Get Your Fun - Part 1 - Lil' Airstream

Create a mini quilt featuring an Airstream trailer just like Ann's.

Hand embroidery, hand piecing, beads, and more were used to create this Mini Art Quilt. Have a peek into Ann's first week of her 8-week journey out west, which then becomes a tutorial on a 6" little art quilt called Lil' Airstream. She covers the complete process from fabric selection to binding and even shows the back of her embroidery work.

Limited kits might be available on her Etsy store at AnnMyhreDesigns. The kit includes everything you'll need to make the piece, except needle and thread. The rivet for the hub cap is a rivet head direct off the Airstream factory floor, collected when she visited for Alumapalooza, 2018. Or, as always, you can use up bits of this and that you have in your own studio!
