Yardage Requirements

There are many One-Block Quilts to make with Triangles, Hexagons, and Diamonds.  So let's say you have 1 1/4" yards of your favorite fabric, and you want to make a quilt with 2" hexagons. Look at the hexagon chart, and you see that you 1 1/4" yards will give you 88 2" hexies. Now you know whether you'll need to buy more fabric, rework the size of your quilt, or make different size hexagons. How easy is that?
