Linda Fisher is a prolific quilter who made 73 quilts exhibited at the Museum of Texas Tech University and another 60 for auction. She is able to make so many quilts because she finds an puts together vintage quilt blocks. For the 500 Year Quilt, Linda used blocks from 1890, 1904, 1908, 1910 and 1916 that she put together in 2011.
