Cindy shares her tips on how to avoid pile-ups on the back of your quilt due to multiple stitches in the same place. This happens when you change the direction of your quilting. Consider the thread weight and ply when choosing thread for machine quilting. This information should be on the label or spool, i.e. 50/2 is a 50 weight thread that is 2 ply. Bottom Line - use a fine thread in the bobbin.
