Julie shares the formula and technique to make quarter square triangles for the hour glass block.
Starting with 2 squares of fabric 1 1/2" larger than the finished size of the square, she covers marking, stitching, cutting and pressing. Then the resulting 1/2 square triangle units are stitched and cut to make 2 hour glass blocks. The completed blocks are then trimmed to size.
