Julie demonstrates using the Apliquick tools, a glue stick and a water soluble, fusible appliqué paper.
She traces the pattern on the fusible appliqué paper on the wrong side of the fabric and cuts it out with a scant seam allowance. How to turn the points of the leaf and a circle are covered in detail. Using parchment paper as an overlay on the pattern, she places the flower petals and center circle and glues into place. The finished flower can then be machine or hand appliquéd in place.
