Guest host Janae King demonstrates how to square up a block with any size square ruler.
She uses blue painter's tape to mark out the center of the square and the outside edge of the unfinished square. Using the ruler she can center the square, align the seams, and verify there is more than enough of a seam allowance all around the block.
