Hello twiglet, welcome to the forum, you'll find us a sometimes wierd :roll: , often encouraging :P , sometimes critical :wink: , always sympathetic, and generally fun :lol: , though feisty :twisted: and familiar 8) crowd. Looking forward to 'meeting' you often all over the forum and possibly in the blogs as well. (for those, go to 'features' and then 'member blogs'. ... And there's more more more. :0)

Hi Twiglet, Derbyshire is a lovely county, I used to be over the border in Notts too, but am currently in the East Riding of Yorkshire, (Just over the Humber bridge & left a bit :wink: )
You will find a number of us Forum junkies who natter a lot - sometimes even about quilting :lol: just remember that the only dumb questions are the ones you don't ask, and there are always people around who can help with advice.

Hi Twiglet, I'm from Bracknell Berks and sending a long distance wave. You will have such fun, a great laugh and learn so much from this forum. If ever anyone has a problem with their quilting there is always someone to offer advice. We look forward to seeing more of you :-)
