Is anyone still working on Color My world? I had to stop in October and now want to finish. I have downloaded the patterns and instructions to start. I want to include a lighthouse. Has anyone else included one? I have questions.

I'm still working on mine, Still have two tall buildings to finish. I decided to do traditional paper piecing for One World tower. Took a while to pick off the papers but I'm very happy with it.
-
Several people have made lighthouses. You will have to look at past topics under 2021 BOM Color My World. Topics like Your Finish Here, Design Your Own Skyscrapers, etc have photos that include Lighthouses.
Those who are done may not be looking at this Category now.

I'm still working on mine. I am just now getting to the tall buildings so I have a long way to go. Just ran into the problem with printing month 8 that many people seemed to have. Very frustrating! I hope this doesn't happen with any of the rest of them.

Yes, I'm still working on this quilt top. Life got in the way & then my sew mojo crashed. Have gained a fresh perspective for 2022 "Finish" is my word for the year. I paper pieced the blocks because I enjoy the accuracy. Yet to do is one small house and then the skyscrapers. I especially enjoyed making the "village" houses.

I gave up on mine after the road because my tall buildings shadow didn't fit. I tried to get help but no one was available to help me. So I put it in my ufo pile. I pulled it out the other day and thought about it, folded it up and back in the pile.

There are many Topics on this quilt still available on the Forum. Read through them to see if your issue has been addressed 3 years ago.

Karen W, Thanks to you I went for a walk down memory lane in the Color My World forum area.
Shout out to all those names I recognized are still making these fun, fun, fun BOMs. I don't know
why I was so surprised to so many of the names I am seeming on this BOM. I tried for 45 min.
to find one of your posts after the road section and came up empty handed. If it is not too much
trouble pull it back out of you ufo pile and take a picture of the front and the back and write down
what exactly you felt was the problem you ran into. I am always willing to help if it is something
I know about or at least send you in the correct direction. I was overwhelmed by the number of topics when I went back to Color My World. I noticed Barbara's red dots and went to those first. HelenW

Helen W. I appreciate your help. I am really confused and stopped when I encountered several tall buildings and the shadows didn't match the buildings so I stopped. My ufo pile is huge and multiple so I will try next month or year to get that one out. It wasn't my first paper piecing at all and so it might have been an issue with printing the pattern, since My Dear Husband got a new wiz-bang printer for Christmas that year and it might have been the culprit...
