I am finally able to post my picture. Some sort of cliche in the program and I couldn't comment, share, or download any pictures for quit awhile. I wanted my points to be the focal point so I decided to tame down the outer circles to bring out the centre. I am using my own fabrics but trying to match the suggested colours as best I can. Right now I am struggling with the next border; in that I don't know if I want to go symmetrical or with lots of variety. I'm sure there are lots of quilters in the same dilemma.

I finally finished month 3! Now I am dithering about which colors to use for month 4 and 5 and beyond. I should have taken a better look at the photo - I just placed it on the floor, but evidently, I didn't straighten it out properly before taking the photo. I'm just happy it's done.

Finally started my BOM over the past few weeks and just finished month 3. I’m using Bella Solids. I restrained myself from adding wool, but did change up the center and corner circles. While piecing month 2, I made some unforced errors on color placement, but I’m happy with how it turned out. Still contemplating adding little circles in the 4 corners of the center square. If so, I’m sure there will be some hand embellishing involved.

For the first border I plan to use the month 5 squares all the way around. Maybe I get caught up that way!

Becky’s videos in conjunction with Barbara’s posts have been invaluable, as this is my first non-wool quilt!
