Izzy was making cookies this evening to take into school tomorrow. She is getting pretty good at 'her' favourite recipe, she only needs mummy to chop up the bars of chocolate, portion out the mixture at the end to get 30 smaller cookies out of a recipe that makes 20 and to remind her to keep an eye on the time, so they don't burn. Fortunately she doesn't need to separate eggs, and she didn't manage to burn herself either. I just wish she would take her (black) school sweatshirt off before she starts cooking :x Perhaps I ought to get her a new apron that fits her - the last one she got is for about a 5 yr old
Merry Christmas to all Lounge Lizards and hope you have a good one.

Rosemary~ Did you see the "Recycled into Apron" blog that Terry (quilting00) posted in Member Blogs? It is so clever and I'll bet it would cover Izzy's black school sweatshirts perfectly! Adding my wishes for a fabulous Christmas and New Year to all Lounge Lizards. It's been so fun being part of this group. I look forward to seeing what everyone will be creating next year!

Ritzy you always make me laugh. I think you are particularly funny at Christmastime. I remember reading a blog you wrote about decorating the Christmas tree. If any of you haven't read it you should go back in the blogs to find it. I was rolling on the floor. I think DH was also involved in that one too. I was needing a good laugh and Ritzy your provided one once more.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Jane, I went looking for Ritzy's Christmas blog and could not find it. I know it was 2009 or earlier because that is when I joined the quilt show. I read some of the Charter Member's blogs beginning to end when I first joined as a way to get to know people and their work. So it could have been any Christmas between 2009 and the very beginning. Hopefully Ritzy will chime in here and give us a link.

Jane, so sorry the flu bug is at your home. Hopefully he will be gone soon.
Ritzy, once again you made me laugh out loud! Thank you! Just one question though.... Is your dog a dachshund? If so would that make him/her a powder sugared wiener dog? Don't let him get too hot, he may get a caramelized shell. ha!
Merry Christmas to all the lounge lizards. I so enjoy your friendships...

This one is about baking too. Haven't found the one Lois is talking about. I will keep looking.
My dog is a big German shepherd so when the bowl dropped on her, she stood up, looked at it and tried to lick it up. I stopped her and she went willingly.
