And it was 'Irish need not apply' either. Maybe someday.

Maureen, I love that mug rug - there is nothing like a ray of sunshine and a cup of tea to make me smile. Terry, long life and health to enjoy it.

Terrie, your mug rug from Maureen is a very happy one.

I promised to post mine, also from Maureen, so here it is. First the back. I'm sure the card is chosen very carefully to go with her beautiful hand dyed fabric.

Then the cheerful front. I love the colors. A friend of mine saw it and she was so inspired by the quilting.
Maureen, did you know it makes a perfect mouse pad also?
          Thank you so much.

and here we have one of those incidents where I can't figure out, why the photo insist on showing in portrait mode. They were taken in the same way on my phone.

Another great muggie Maureen. I love your use of colour. Enjoy your mousepad Norma, I hope the mice don't leave cheese nibbles all over it.

Nice mug rugs, Maureen! Lucky recipients I really like the last one, especially pondering how it was pieced.

I looked at all of the posted rugs the other day in the Show and Tell. The number is quite amazing, as is the number of responses by our diligent lizards in this thread...it's hard to keep up!

Thanks everyone for your kind remarks. Norma, never thought of a mouse mat

I have a couple more mug rugs on my list to send out, but it won't be until after the holidays when the post is back to normal. If anyone else wants on my new list - email me with your address. This won't be until the New Year.

Susan, I sliced and diced some fabrics and sewed them together but they came out square so I sliced and diced again until I came up with a rectangle.

Lovely Maureen. We have 238 muggies posted here. I know they are not all in the show and tell. Here is a beauty I received yesterday. Susan made it with fabric she won as the winner of an honorable mention in the Quilt Alliance competition(remember the 20 blackbirds--probably not the name, just my description of it). See that little blue thing on the left side? That is a cute ornament(at least it is hanging on my tree) and it is blue. Origami with fabric! Thank you Susan. Oops, forgot to put the picture ops:

I received this beauty from Charae yesterday

I love it! -it combines 2 of my favourite things - coffee and wine Those wine glass charms will be VERY useful at this time of year.

Meanwhile I haven't got to the last 3 mug rugs on my list and my sewing room (or is it an atelier???? ............ actually it's the garage) is such a mess that I don't want to be in it. So it might be time to start the clean up today.... it might take till the new year ops:

Susan - If you have more room after the holidays, I'd like to exchange with you at some point if you are interested.

Beautiful mug rugs from Susan and Charae. I love your fabric Susan, was it pieced or just one fabric? Robyn, I love the coffee cup in the middle of the block, just what was the mug rugs are about.
