Would that be the 'Greater Dorset Woodworm'?
When I was a child and my gran lived in Dorset, my parents visited lots of the churches and saw lots of woodworm holes, in some churches the holes had even spread to the stonework too! so they decided that there must be the 'Greater Dorset Woodworm' that ate into stone as well as wood :P (I guess I was on some of those trips but I was very small at the time, but I do have memories of going past churches with ravages to the stonework, which my parents ascribed to these pests) Sometimes you can still find out breaks in other parts of the country too

I'm not sure about all these worms. I don't like them, nor their bigger version.... snakes.

            Anyway, look what I got!

Isn't it pretty! The wood is Coco Bolo. Let's hope it doesn't get worms! hmy:

What a lovely piece, Geneva. DH made himself a knife a few years ago using coco bolo wood for the handle, so I know first hand how beautiful that wood is.

It's beautiful, Geneva! Are you going to use both ends? At the same time? I wonder if I can get one of those in Colorado....

Sure Nancy, you can get one! In Washington and Colorado pot is legal. Anyone can buy one. The other end is a handy jewelry clasp putter-on-er!

And for the record, I don't smoke.... anything. My asthma is bad enough without adding to it! But I do love a good joke!

The penny just dropped. Pot holder, not potholder. I never woulda thunk, Geneva!
