                        Thank you all for your nice comments. And no standing on your head is really nice too. Wendy, your photos are very close to the correct colors. That's very nice also.
                        The chicken wire was made as a background on the rug. I have just gotten the DesignWorks from Bernina and wanted to try designing in it, so I drew the wire with hexagons and let the program figure out how to sew it. I have to practice a bit more because it was difficult to line up the hexagons perfectly, but I thought chicken wire sometimes is not perfect so I let it go. It is embroidered on my Bernina 830 with Wonderfil thread which I find difficult to use. It's not a strong metal thread so I had a few breakages though I set the machine on very slow. After that I embroidered the bird on top of the wire.

                            I have not had much time to be on the forum lately and wow what I have missed. The mug rugs are spectacular. True artistry is coming out more and more. Wonderful job ladies.
