Nancy, I won't be able to attend the Denver show. However my aunt lives in Denver so I got her a 3 day pass. She likes to stand by my quilts and talk to people. She's not a quilter, but she loves art! Her name is Pat Barrington. If you see her, I'd love a picture of her and the quilt. (And of the quilt too!) Thanks so much.
Let's hope our quilts don't get into any trouble while messing around together at night!ops:
Take care,
GenevaGeneva

So exciting that three of you have quilts in the same show!! It's a goal of mine.....one day.
AS for the muggies I'm sending out.....one is ready to go and will get mailed, today, to Ritzy. The other 7 are having great binding issues and I decided better to wait, LOL! Sat down to put on the binding today, so I could mail out to all of my list. Muggy #1, I sewed down the folded bit on the corners in some way that made it impossible to actually fold them back to the back. Will need unstitched and restitched, so I set it aside to be dealt with when the rest were done.
Muggy #2, I ran out of bobbin thread just at the start of the 1st side, but didn't notice until after I turned the corner to the 2nd side. :sigh: Stopped, reloaded the bobbin. For some reason, despite having loaded hundreds (thousands?) of bobbins, I threaded the bobbin wrong *three times* before getting it right. Then, the bobbin threatened to use up all the thread on my spool, only spool of neutral I have (in packing for the move from Brazil to the US, thread was deemed bulky and easily replaceable, only I haven't replaced it yet.....). I loaded "enough" thread on the bobbin to get through a few, and then got a phone call.
Once the phone call was done, I decided I was not in the mood for more obstacles, so would stop at the LQS and buy proper thread when I take the 1 completed muggy to the post office and mail to Ritzy, and then finish the rest tomorrow, after 2 cups of coffee instead of just one.

OMG, OMG, OMG! You won't believe what I found in my mailbox when I got home from work today! This incredible mug rug was made by Charae. I'm overwhelmed with how wonderful it is! Representing my beloved Broncos:
Isn't that just perfect??? She claims that her quilting needs work, but look at the stitching on the back:
If that's not perfect, I don't know what is! The loops make me think of a cowboy riding the bronco and swinging his lasso. I'm going to have quite a hard time keeping my friend and fellow Broncos fan, Rebecca (shaluna), from stealing this beauty!
Thank you so much, Charae!! I'm so touched!!
