Somebody has been reading this thread!

Personally I wonder if Margo has a secret second career as a cartoonist!

And I was so looking forward to a boxer shorts / knicker muggie!

Actually, there are some fab boxers out there... And just think of all that fabulous lace on knickers and bras.
When my younger brother got married (almost exactly 20 years ago), I went shopping with him to get his groom outfit. The doc martens were ok, shirt, suit, fine... But he absolutely insisted on Sylvester & Tweety boxer shorts, but they had to be silk! I don't know how many fun and goofy boxers I looked at that day... But they would make a great quilt! And my younger brother would love it! Hmmmm. He'll be 50 in three years... I better start collecting!

So was I, Lotti...either boxers or knickers would be great. I'm still trying to figure out how to make itty bitty ones for a mug rug but I'm lousy at drawing anything in the correct dimension so as to be recognizable.

Margo, that cartoon just made me laugh out loud...thank you!!!

We should all manage some simple 'wee' boxer shorts, seeing that Rosemary can do the Cerne Abbas Giant........ Hey, Rosemary, how about making me a Cerne Abbas Giant wearing boxer shorts???!!!

Now you gals have me ROTFL....

I agree Lotti, the fabrics are lovely. Which was my original and main point, until someone started going 3D on me. :P

Maybe I'll just contact the manufacturer and buy the stuff by the yard, then I suppose, you might let me go on that topic!

Then again, maybe Rosemary is thinking about a knickers exchange after we are topped up with Mug Rugs!

QUILTED Knickers Exchange...... it would have to be, Terrie. A lot of quilters don't sew, I'm told.

I have to go shopping tomorrow. My fridge is almost empty, and this girl needs plenty of fresh veg and fruit in order to maintain this gorgeous body. Well....... the supermarket I'm going to has a clothes section. I'm going to hit that and rummage for 'virgin boxer shorts'. I'll let you know how I'm getting on.
