I now belong to 2 guilds. When I get there I will take my Mug Rugs for Show 'n Tell. What a great idea. BTW I am still dealing with the fallout from hyperfocusing on my segment of the Chinese Whisper Challenge which was immediately followed by a deadline to finish another quilt by 8/20. As soon as I clear a bit of the chaos I will be back in the Mug Rug business. Can't wait!

Love the story about the truck drivers. The Mug Ruggers and Lounge Lizards is morphing into much more than ever (I) imagined at first!
For our program this year, instead of the usual way we have out Christmas potluck party with games and prizes. This year, we have planned for everyone to go home with a gift. We are getting everyone who wants to participate, to make a mug rug. Then, at Christmas, they will bring it in, all wrapped; and, then we play a game where everyone wins! So, everyone gives a MR and everyone gets one just like here!
I'm going to bring in my mug rugs as a demo of what people can do, since there is a wide variety of skill levels at guild! Plus, it will save our guild from having to buy the gifts, so we will have more $$ for teaching!
Thanks to you fellow lounge lizards - lots of people will see your mug rugs, besides the truck drivers.
