You still have almost a month Rosemary - your date for posting to me is 12th October. The max size for this quilt is 40"X40" and the minimum is 24"X24" it should be doable. I am supposed to post on to Wendy by 7th December. Just so you know the last posting date from Ireland to Britain is 18th December so if you delay by too much then it might be wiser to think of sending CW to Wendy first rather than me. Just a thought.

Say it isn't so, Rosemary! Half the challenge is making the deadline, no matter what the obstacles! The good thing is that this is a group exhibition, not a competition! Come on, Rosemary, you can get yours in on time!Originally posted by PosyPTotally inspired, just having major problems with my values - in part because I wasn't able to get certain fabrics I was hoping to at Harrogate  Having more complaints from DH that what I have planned is too simple for me  he hasn't seen all of the plans yet :P and I have just had some more ideas come to me as I type this
Got a nasty suspision that I won't be making the revised deadline - Sorry Rita!
Glad to get that off my chest.
Looking at Wendy's comment, looks like the impact could snowball!
PS Hope you don't have any gigs during the holiday season, along with lengthy rehearsals, Rita!

I was only thinking maybe a week at tops, since it arrived with me 10-12 days earlier than prognosticated, when I couldn't possibly work on it, because of a) shopping requirements & b)finishing CR-H. It would be putting us back to about the time table before Lois was such an early bird.
It is coming together nicely at the moment and I know what should be happening too 8)

Thanks Wendy. I would prefer to keep to the schedule if at all possible. My real concern is that things can get lost for a very long time in the post over Christmas so I would prefer to get mine in the post to you as early in December as possible. Let's wait and see how Rosemary is doing will we? I am sure it will all be grandOriginally posted by twigletIf you want to swap Rita that's fine

So DH is away till the end of the week, thought I would be able to get some serious sewing done (and some not so serious sewing  ) Then my parents asked if they could pop up for a couple of days.... The guest beds are their usual '3foot under', so I am clearing up our bedroom for them to stay in (& boy does it need it
ops: ), and I will take the top guest bed,- marginally easier to sort out that way and less disruption to the sewing part of guest/sewing room.
Tally Ho!
