Have them all cut up and ready to mail, just have to get out of office to the post office to mail them. Maybe I can talk my daughter into venturing out to do that or better yet, have her watch office so I can go. Hmmmmmmmmm. Oh the decisions we have to make. Great day everyone.

So excited, I was way ahead of a deadline this time. Mailed my strips today, notified Needleware - Barb, and all is peaceful except the weather just won't stay sunny a whole day. Must get sunshine.

Almost done with HST for SoTT so now to do the strips for SSE . Hope to get them mailed this week also. Then it will be the wait for the return envelopes. Going to Curves and then off to watch my son run in high school track meet at the local college (its inside). In 2 weeks he will be speaking at our local quilt show as part of the "Youth Quilters Trunk Show".

                          Happy Sewing!!

                            Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update on the strip exchange - I have received packages from 96 of you totaling 15,242 strips . As I am doing the initial sorting by color, I am not seeing duplicates - that is amazing!

I have 22 emails in my folder alerting me of "strips on the way".

Our deadline in the end of April which seems like a long way off - but it will be here before you can blink an eye  - so get those beautiful batiks cut and in the mail.

My 150 strips are ready to drop off at the Post Office. Since I need to get out near there tomorrow, I will drop them off then. After I do, I will send an e-mail to Barb to let her know that they are on they way. I had a few fabrics that were difficult to determine if they should be sorted with the blues, purples or greens because they had so many beautiful colors in them.
