Hi Everyone,
Some of you have asked how many "strippers" we have. The number is about 212. I am more interested in keeping up with the names and amount of strips I receive. Some people may sign up and change their minds, etc.
As of yesterday's mail I have received 40 packages totaling 6340 BEAUTIFUL batik strips.
Please remember to send me an email when you mail your strips.

This is the first fabric exchange that I've ever participated in, and I am so excited about it.
Today, I finally purchased my batiks--it was so much fun choosing from the hundreds of beautiful batiks available. Since the bolts of fabrics were stacked on the shelves such that only about 1 1/2" of each was exposed, I could see how the strips would look before making my selections. When I pulled fabrics from the shelves, they were even more beautiful when I could see their entire designs. The store clerk was very generous when cutting the fabrics for me, so luckily I'll have a few strips leftover to keep from each of the fabrics I chose. Unfortunately, I didn't catch a sale, but I was able to use my discount card.
I also stopped at the post office to get my postage and flat rate envelopes, so now I need to get to cutting my strips.

Hi there
I have 100 strips ready to come to you.
As I am in Australia I am wondering what to do with the postage side of things. I can't send a postage paid return envelope, as it will be in Australian dollars.
hopefully I'm not the only one with this dilemma. Sorry if you have discussed this before, but I couldn't find anything in the rules
