Thank you, everybody!!
Flat Rita had a spectacular day today! She got to attend the taping! What a spectacular time!! The guest stars for today's tapings were Sue Nickels and Mickey Lawler. You definitely want to keep an eye out for both shows! I found them both to be very fun, interesting and informative. (Okay, I'm trying not to use so many exclamation points, but I just got home from the taping and I haven't come down from my excitement yet!!)
Flat Rita went to the taping with Rebecca and me. Once we got there, we ran into Margo and Judy. The first show to tape was the Sue Nickels show. Flat Rita got a great seat for that show. I think if you watch the show, you'll get some good glimpses of her in the audience! Definitely a show to watch out for! Then Flat Rita, Rebecca, Margo, Judy and I went to Panera Bread for lunch. (Flat Rita didn't eat much because she's working hard to maintain her slim form!) We got a couple of group pictures so you would see all us having fun together:
After lunch, we had the taping of the Mickey Lawler show. Flat Rita decided to stay out of the limelight for this one. After all, it's not ALL about her, right? Or is it??
After the taping, Alex and Ricky were kind enough to take a little time out to also get their picture with Flat Rita:
This was actually extremely nice on their part since they usually don't allow pictures at the tapings because they are just SO busy with everything! But they said they knew how much we would appreciate this on the forum so they went out of their way to accomodate us. Thank you so much, Alex & Ricky!!
And also some special thanks to Diane Frank, who made sure that Ricky knew about Flat Rita and when she would be at the taping. Because of her help with this, Flat Rita got a wonderful reception!!
Again, what a spectacular day!!

Flat Rita's next adventure: Rocky Mountain Quilt Festival on Friday, Aug 17. Isn't life great??

Hooray! I am glad that you had fun at the taping. So Ricky was able to make time for Flat Rita -- Good! (Thanks to Pat his admin -she was helpful). Margo was there too? Wow, she really had to travel. I hope that she is enjoying her stay in Colorado. Hi to Rebecca and Judy too.
Judy - are you going to the guild meeting on Monday? The location has changed. I'm going.
Nancy - I am going to be at Quilt Festival on Friday (and Saturday and Sunday). I have one class on Friday, but that's it. Sherry should be there too. More Flat Rita photos?

It's on my bucket list too Lois - 3D Rita's that is. Nancy thanks so much for giving us all such a fun post to read -from the photos I can see that I was in very good hands. You are all such good sports. I can't wait to see those shows too. Diane, I am not sure if I should be saying 'thank you' or 'what have you done?' I am really looking forward to Rocky Mountain Quilt Festival now.
