Congratulations, Wendy! But you are not quite as famous as Flat Rita yet.

Flat Rita survived the trip to Birmingham and came out of the suitcase, dancing and singing, this morning. She went to a kaleidoscope class with me and met Patti Hempen. You'll have to wait for pictures till next week because only my PC at home has the right software to download pictures from my digital camera.

Flat Rita is exhausted now and fast asleep already. All this cutting of hundreds (not exaggerating) of wedges (accurately) has worn her out.

Well, I sure know why Flat Rita is resting! She had a busy day here in Northern California. We went to the Sun City Lincoln Hills Needle Arts meeting to hear Alex Anderson give a show and tell. What fun! First we decided to walk to Kilaga Springs because parking there is so bad. Unfortunetly it is 100 degrees out plus the smoke filled skies due to all the fires. But Flat Rita had brought her jungle hat from Ireland and insisted on wearing it. I told her that the jungle like area was just the open space by the golf course, but she insisted. She looked quite cute!
