Well Wendy, ironically, between the jigs and the reels I will be in Edinburgh for real just before FoQ and Bath just after but can't make it to Birmingham. I am hoping to have time to go to the American Museum in Bath to have a look at their quilt collection which I have wanted to do for years. With my luck it will be closed the only day I can make it. Flat Rita can't wait to meet you, Anne and anybody else from TQS at FoQ.

Thanks Roseanne. I am a bit ruddy cheeked in it but it reminds me of a happy time so I don't care.

Wendy, DH has written music for an adaptation of Gulliver's Travels that is being staged in the Edinburgh festival and he has also done music for The Tempest which is being staged in Bath so I am there in a supporting role. Unfortunately commitments in between make FoQ impossible. :?

Nah, it's a pain in the ass really! Only joking! He writes a good tune does our Shaun, and we are very proud of him.

I have seen the look on his face when she has finished singing a song and he is definitely proud and his music is wonderful. I spent time this afternoon listening to them.

Alex Anderson is coming to our Needle Arts meeting August 14th. Would flat Rita like to go with me? Maybe she is busy elsewhere. She moves about so much that I can't keep track of her! I can try to get a picture of flat Rita ad Alex.
