Please pray for my cousin in Idaho. She had a stroke today and her left side is paralyzed and the meds aren't working. She has 3 grown daughters but is still raising her 3 sons. I just saw her 2 weeks ago and she looked fine.
    Thanks, Annis

Annis, I am so sorry to hear about your cousin! A stroke is so difficult to work through. The mind is willing, but the body is unable! I have added her to my prayer list! Hugs!!!

Ah ha! I should have remembered that because he is a great writer. He also had one out a few years ago when my oldest daughter was still in high school and was considered a "nerd" or a "geek". The words to that one were something like.."I'm not cool but that's okay, my God loves me anyway. I'm not cool but that's alright, I'm still precious in His sight."
Not at all saying you and your husband aren't cool (LOL) but hang on to the fact of how precious you both are in His sight now and always.

and we TQSers think you're "way cool"!!!!

Thanks for your prayers for my cousin. She is only 53. She had a full stroke with extensive damage to her right brain. She is out of ICU now and in the neurology unit. The good news is she didn't lose her ability to talk and has felt occasional pain and pressure in her left leg. This will be a long process for her to get through. Please pray for continued strength for the family and that she will not lose her joyful personality.

I'm saying more prayers for your cousin, Annis. I hope that her young age will give her more ability to spring back from this! Hugs, Robin

DH's doctor's appointment update: We met with the urologist for quite a while yesterday. The digital exam did not look optimistic. We have scheduled the biopsy for August 3rd. Meanwhile, Terry is on cipro for a month, just in case it is an infection (prostatitous), but the digital exam lead her to believe it probably wasn't. If the biopsy proves to be cancer, then a CT scan will be done to see if the cancer is isolated to the prostrate, or has metastasized into the lymph nodes or bone. At that point we will discuss options.

Like I've said before, this is expensive for us right now! Yesterday's visit was $500, thank you very much! So, I gave them $50, and told them to put me on the payment plan. We'll just take it one day at a time, and pray for a miracle. Pray it IS just an infection, and pray one of our investements will actually show a return this year!!! Either one would be a miracle.

Houston. Every time I mention NOT going to Houston, due to the circumstances, DH refuses to listen to that kind of talk, and insists that I go. So, I will, unless he is in the middle of some kind of therapy, that requires me to be here to drive him, or take care of him. Without a complete diagnosis, and plan of attack, I don't know what my schedule will be the first of November.

Please keep us in your prayers. Terry is really down!

                          Thanks, Dawn
