Prayers for all!! Cancer is a horrific disease. And as I sit now holding my beautiful friend's hand while she recovers from the latest round of chemo, I just don't know if the treatment is any better than the disease.

I will place prayers for you all .. Both the person suffering and all the support people helping them through these tough times.

I need prayer for a melanoma and some kind of polyp in my uterus. I will be getting the first visit with my new specialist in the city near me. So I will have more information on it by the end of the week. Thank you all for the prayers. Jan

Talked to my friend and student, Ginger, tonight. They have found cancer in the left breast; they believe there is cancer in the right also; they will do a biopsy on the 15th for the right breast and then. if it is cancer, they will do a double mastectomy on the 19th. Please pray for her. Thank you.

Beccah said that the ultrasound showed that Elisha is in position and the stress test on him, when he woke up, showed him being a good boy and doing what he is suppose to do. Yeah Lord!

This is to everyone but especially Sharon...
Please, please, please don't ever hesitate to request prayers! Our Lord wants us to pray for one another! And while we care about you all enough to be interested in the details, you needn't feel you have to reveal them if it makes you uncomfortable, because HE knows already! It doesn't matter to me that I've never met any of you personally, you are still dear to me! And I will continue to pray for all those previously mentioned requests.

Sharon, I'm praying that Jason will come out of this soon.

                          Jan, the prayers are coming.

Ritzy, I'll pray for Ginger; and it sounds like Elisha is raring to go! Doing the happy dance for Beccah.

Prayer warriors, that's what we are.

A good friend sent me this today, and I thought it was worth sharing here:

                                A Layman's 10 Commandments

1] Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a "steering wheel" that directs the right path throughout.

2] A car's windshield is so large and the rear view mirror is so small because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, Look Ahead and Move On.

3] Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write.

4] All things in life are temporary. If going well, enjoy it; they will not last forever. If going wrong, don't worry; they can't last long either.

5] Old friends are Gold! New friends are Diamonds! If you get a Diamond, don't forget the Gold because to hold a Diamond, you always need a base of Gold!

6] Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, GOD smiles from above and says, "Relax, sweetheart, it's just a bend, not the end!

7] When GOD solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities; when GOD doesn't solve your problems HE has faith in your abilities.

8] "Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?" He replied: "Yes, losing your vision!"

9] When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them, and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.

10] WORRYING does not take away tomorrow's TROUBLES, it takes away today's PEACE.
