Your mom sounds like a wonderful woman. I'm so sorry for your loss and the pain grieving brings. But well you should be proud of her. As I was reading her story, I was struck how her work touched my life without my knowing it. I remember reading a few articles about historic Fredericksburg that drew me there to visit. I remember reading about the campaign to restore the market and how it revived the city. I've been to the museum. Your mother's picture shows a beautiful woman with a face that belies her strong character. God Bless your family this week.

Florence your mother sounds like a lady I would have loved to get to know. Beautiful inside and out too. You get through these days and weeks, as I have been there this month with missing my father. I am looking forward to my mom coming here in a month!

Now I would like to ask for prayers for my brother who is self employed and cannot find work. He does a lot with video and film and has two children. Please pray he finds work soon.

It is snowing here! Not news for those of you in the north, but after living in San Diego, today was the first time I've shoveled snow in 17 years! And all I had was a broom! But I will do my best to get out to mass tomorrow and you all will be in my prayers.
