We all can't wait to hear when Elisha arrives safe & sound. Until then he and Beccah will remain in my prayers.Originally posted by ritzyTalked to my friend and student, Ginger, tonight. They have found cancer in the left breast; they believe there is cancer in the right also; they will do a biopsy on the 15th for the right breast and then. if it is cancer, they will do a double mastectomy on the 19th. Please pray for her. Thank you.
Beccah said that the ultrasound showed that Elisha is in position and the stress test on him, when he woke up, showed him being a good boy and doing what he is suppose to do. Yeah Lord!

Dawn, you know that you and Terry are both in my prayers and will remain until this is all resolved. Love you!!!!Originally posted by ScoopieMANY PRAYERS NEEDED!!
My DH, Terry, went in for his routine yearly check up. Except, it has been two years this time. His psa numbers were EXTREMELY eleveated. We don't know the cause, but guessing it is cancer. I spoke with his doctor for about 15 minutes last night on the phone, and while she was assuring me that there were other things that can raise the psa level, she stated she could not assure me it wasn't. She said she did not want to give me a false hope. She tried to calm me by telling me prostate cancer is slow growing, very treatable, and there are many options. We didn't go into any more details. Terry has an appointment set up with a urologist for next Thursday, July 21. It had originally been set up for August 9, but I put some pressure on them! (It's called PANIC!) His psa number should be around 4.5, and it is 29.5. Not good!
So, I am asking for prayers that we can be a little calmer (#10 on Margo's 10 commandments, above) and, of course, that it will NOT be cancer. God has given us some major economic/lifestyle challenges in the past 4 years, and we have worked through them. This will also be VERY, VERY costly to us right now! We were hoping to not have another challenge quite so soon.
Thank you all!
Dawn

My cousin is doing better now after surgery. Thanks for all of the prayers. I just heard a cousin in California passed away unexpectedly a few days ago. I didn't know him well but correspond often with his sisters. His mother is taking it hard as I'm sure his sisters are also. Please pray for the family.

Bob's oncologist told him there is no need to come back--there is nothing more that can be done for him.
Jerry is in the hospital and will come home to hospice--please pray for his wife Tina as there are still many things that need to be taken care of before he is too drugged up to be able to give his consent.
My cousin just called to let me know that my uncle was killed in a car accident. Please pray for his children--Sandi, Roy, Mark, Mike and David, and my mom Mary. He was the last of my mom's generation.
Beccah had a migraine this week and was in the hospital to make sure that is all it was since she had lost feeling in her right hand. They monitored Elisha the whole time she was there and he is doing well. 25 days left in the countdown--unless he comes early. Thank you for all your prayers.

Oh, Ritzy! Many hugs to you! I will remember you and all of your family in my prayers. This does not seem to be a good time for you/them! I hope the next few weeks/months go a whole lot better!
I had a numb arm and headaches with our third pregnancy, and was told the baby was sitting on a nerve. I hope that is all it is!

Praying for everyone here on this page, especially Ritzy. I am having a D and C in two days and hope it is a benign polyp. I am readier to go now because I checked my bipolar meds with general anesthetics and hopefully there will be no untoward reactions. I also have melanoma which I am thankful is the least aggressive kind. Will have final surgery on the spot and sentinal lymph node surgery if needed on the 25th. Thank you to all who encouraged me on my thread which I think is on this and that. I needed you all to boost my faith. Will let you all know how it goes. THanks, Jan
