My cousin who had the stroke took her first hot shower today after 3 weeks in and out of ICU and is starting the slow road to recovery. The good news is she can read and write and communicate with her family. They knew she was getting better when she asked "What's all this cost". It will be baby steps getting her left side to work again. Thank you for all of your prayers.

Continued prayers for those in need.

Will be praying for Annis' cousin and Terry and others who need it. I am asking for prayer for a good surgery on the 15th on my melanoma and sentinal lymph nodes. It may take 3 hours and I should be there quite a while. Won't know 'til then whether I get to go home that night or not. Thanks in advance to all who will keep me in their prayers. Jan

Thank you Karen. It will be so much easier relinquishing control because of the successful D and C I had. Jan

I'm praying, too, Jan! Glad to hear the D&C was successful, and I'm looking forward to a wonderful report soon! Hugs, Robin

On a new front this morning I am passing blood when I pee. I am praying this possible urinary tract infection will not mess with the surgery date on Monday. Jan

Jan, so sorry to hear about the infection. I will continue to pray for you and all on the list. I will especially pray on the 15th that all goes well.

Jan, hopefully it's just from the D & C, and not an infection! Terry was told he could pass blood for weeks after his biopsy, if that is any consulation. I am praying your procedure goes well tomorrow!

Terry and his doctor are playing phone tag, so I have no update, as yet.

                              Dawn,

Prayers for you all again and your loved ones. I hope all the results provide some positive news for you all. These can be tough times.

My friend Pina, did her last chemo yesterday. The chemo has been hard, but no infection issues, and no hospitalisation, so we are very grateful for that. Radiation starts on the 27 August, and is the last planned treatment for the moment. Continuing to pray for an excellent outcome.

Anyway bug hugs for Jan, Terry and Dawn, Ritzy, Annis and their family members.
