I just lost my first post, so I will try again. I have mailed rows to Dorothy, Geneva, and Luann. I have Lotti's ready to mail, but was waiting for her new address. I will post it tomorrow. Left on my list are Terrie and Rosemary. I am working on them and should have them finished next week.
Lotti, thanks for the recipe. I have friends visiting this weekend, and will make muffins for Saturday. They will love them.
I have 3 of the grands here today. Love to have them and they help to keep each other from being bored.
Hope you all have a great weekend!

All the images up to, say, Tuesday, were just flooding from the rain & bayous; the stuff from Weds. forward will be from the rivers cresting. Her area and mine had close to 40 inches of rain between Saturday and Monday (annual rainfall is normally 50 inches). My home is fine, and will remain fine, thank goodness. We have friends living with us temporarily, waiting on the river to crest so they can go back home (their home should be dry, but their neighborhood will be totally cut off).
Do, everyone, keep Brenda in your prayers. I will try and text her if I still have her number in my phone and post a better update; it's likely she's evacuated or hunkered down not thinking to check in.

yes, just spoke with Brenda by text; she said they got 18" of water in the house, but feel grateful it wasn't more, and they already have workers coming out to begin repairs.
She sends her love, apologizes for any further delay in sending her rows out (which may become just strips of fabric at this point), and of course I told her we all say don't worry about that.
Overall she sounds relatively positive, considering, and appreciates the continued prayers/good thoughts.
