Dear all, I am so sorry I haven't kept up with what is going on with the group. I am safe and dry and have not had to leave my home even when there was a foot and a half of water downstairs. I was so excited, I had gotten all my fabric out of bins and onto the shelves. My sewing machines were set up. My mid arm had a home finally. My sister had made a bunch of rows for row by row experience and I constructed the top and embroidered a label on the back. I had my spread sheet out and was working on Dawn's row when the rains came. I expected a little water, maybe 6 inches but nothing like what I got. A week after the flood I finally found the basket with all my rows from you guys and the notes you had sent with them. Luckily they had all played well in the pool together (no one discolored anyone else) and they were still so wet they hadn't mildewed any. Unfortunately they were with the envelopes to remind me who sent which row and gifts. I am adding pictures of them drying out (while I still had a kitchen counter). If you would be so kind as to let me know which row was from you I would appreciate it. Oh yes, I made a mass mailing today so you each should be receiving something from me soon. I think Houston mail service is running on a regular schedule now, so be on the lookout. I just wish I had been able to piece a row for each of you.

Hi Brenda great to hear from you! My row is the nine patch blue/sea glass blocks with the umbrella/sand square in a square blocks.

Barb, your row was all by itself still in its plastic baggy without one drop of water on it after sitting in a tub full of water for a week!

Glad you are safe. So sorry for all the trouble...
The row I sent you is the one with the boats on point.

Brenda, I am so sorry Harvey disrupted your life to such an extent. I send you "dry" good luck.
The row I sent you is in the second picture on the bottom. Blue stars with yellow centers.

Hi Brenda! I am so glad you are safe and an extra bonus that your machines and fabric made it through ok. My row is in the second from the bottom picture, second row down. The blue pin wheels with sun and sand surrounding them. Have fun putting them all together.

Brenda, the row I sent was in the final photo, curved piecing of a Cozumel beach at sunset (in an abstract kind of way) -- sand colored curved strips, then water colored strips, then sunset and blue sky strips. It's the bottom row in the bottom photo.

Hi Brenda, good to hear things are ok with you. My row is the third one down in the second picture. It is the curvy stripes of sand after the sea has receded - a bit like your flood really

Geez, Brenda! You have been through a lot. I'm glad to hear that the clean up is getting underway, and that many things are salvageable! What a trooper! The last picture that you posted, the beach scene yardage, is what I sent to you, with a note that said I could make a row for you at a later date, if you wanted me to. I just didn't have the time then.

Sorry to hear your flooded again but relieved you're ok. What a year for you and yours!

My row is the ocean waves at the back of fourth photo.

Currently watching the track of hurricane Maria and thankful its missing us in Grenada. Thinking of all the people not so lucky who are in it's path or feel the effect.

I'm sorry you've had such a hard row this year. (haha, not a funny pun) I hope you are getting resettled and get some time to sew.

Good to here that the US ones are getting delivered, I was a little worried! Thanks for identifying your rows for me, it means a lot. Someone had sent some charms along with their row and they were swimming along with the rows, but again, no longer identified. Please let me know so I can think of you while I am putting something together.
