I am thrilled to say that my Rhapsody quilt "Cesto di Fiori" got into the Paducah show for 2009...this is my first time to enter a show, so I'm very excited. I shipped it today.
Congratulations Deb on your wins with your Rhapsody...how exciting for you!
And also congrats to Cindy for your Rhapsody getting accepted to Paducah. I hope to see you there.

It's finished. After a friend working in Kuwait had to move and wasn't going to be able to sew for awhile, she wanted to trade. Her stash for me making her a quilt.
She had some Robert Kaufman fabric that she wanted used in the quilt. She had no specific pattern in mind though. I was following Ricky's video lessons so thought I'd try a rhapsody. I think it has the middle eastern feel I was going for but now since I've learned so much making this one, I'm going to make one for myself. The great thing about the rhapsody quilts is it will look totally different.
She wanted a bed quilt so this is 96" by 96". I quilted it on my Bernina.
I added the picture to my profile.
