    Beautiful new mug rugs!

A reminder if you have received a mug rug...PleasE join the Mug Rug Lizards group and add your photo to the album there. We wanted a central place to look at all mug rugs besides here in the Forum. It works!

Thanks for the reminder Susan. I have some that are waiting to be posted since a while before the new site made its debut. I have a feeling it's going to be after the holidays until I get to that. Immediately after Christmas it's going to be getting a quilted selfie done for our New Years celebration. Has anyone been talking about that party? We need to get things stirred up a bit over on that thread.

Hmm... When I tried this link from my email I got the same error message that gave me so many problems connecting here before. When I tried it from the Forum I got to the CW group and tried to join but all I got was a spinning wheel that would not stop. Perhaps I'll try later. Christmas is calling me now.

I don't see the Mug Rug group on the community page. And I see the Grand Illusion group is missing. I must be confused!

Speaking of confused.... that is why Renata's mug rug to me is so special. It is an eight sided hexagon!! And I misspelled Eve (Eave) on Maureen's birthday party post. It wasn't even happy hour yet! I guess I was so excited to get off the computer and go sew that I didn't pay attention.

            Happy weekend everyone!

Before everyone thinks I'm completely daft, I found the mug rug and Grand Illusion group on the community page. I didn't think about clicking all groups.....

              Ok, back to sewing.....

Okay, to unveil the mystery about whether my muggie for Geneva is a hexie block or not... technically, it is an octagon because it has eight sides, but... I thought I was doing a snowball block when I was making it...

Oh my, do we need a mug rug for seniors group? I thought an 8 sided shape was an octagon, but this could be a colloquialism for those who love detailed math :P

Susan, I am with you. It's an octagon. Eight sides. I remember because I know an octapus has eight legs. There's just too much chalk dust flowing in my veins to let this go. Both parents were school teachers. I drive my kids nuts being the eternal teacher. Sorry. Be patient with me.

It could be a hexagon with the points cut off :P
