Look what I got in the mail yesterday... a beautiful mug rug from Geneva, who did not know she knew my weak spot... chocolat! But, what quilter wouldn't love chocolate? So creative in taking a ribbon from a chocolate box, she free-formed a beautiful display of colors, added prairie points, perfect decorative stitching and it arrived as my husband and I were having our afternoon tea together. Guess what we put to good use? Thank you so much, Geneva, it is beautiful!!! :cheer:

I'm glad you all like it. Especially Renata.

The chocolat ribbon came from the box of chocolates my husband gave me for Christmas. It was my way of sharing some chocolate with Renata. And aren't I the best friend ever?, I ate all the chocolates myself thereby saving Renata from the calories!

I had a bunch of scraps from making my daughter's wedding quilt. I love to make these types of quilts. They are hard to start because I always want to be precise. But once I get going, whoo-hoo! I love that little stitch on my Bernina. It's so easy and fun.

Did you all notice the center block with the chocolate ribbon? I believe that is a 4 sided octagon, or is it a hexagon? I always get them mixed up! Ha! :P

                                There's an octagon in there (oct = 8, hex = 6). I didn't notice it at first.
