More beauties have arrived to be enjoyed by one & all. Still slowly working on my current set - I will get there in the end, but my sewing table is back to bombshell status, after clearing up the lounge

Should that teach us never to clean up our space? Easily done

I must show you all the twin, that came from Geneva. It's so beautiful. I feel very lucky to receive all these little pieces of art. I had that dotted fabric some time ago and loved it. Now I can look at it every day and enjoy.
Geneva, thank you so much for this and for the goodies that came with it. I appreciate it.

              Wow! This looks beautiful!

Is this "couching"? Are the 4 lines on top of each other? I wish I could do that...

It is couching and I think you can do it. For the Berninas we have several feet that can be used for couching but if I remember right you sew on another brand. The couching foot holds the yarn so it is easy to stitch it down.

Your twin looks just as beautiful as mine! Good job, Geneva!

Norma and Nancy, Glad you like the twins. "Day and Night" and Night and Day". It was a fun little experiment that turned out ok! My quilting can't compare to your quilting, but it is getting better.

I laid the sheer black thread down over the seams and then used my Bernina couching foot threading the orange thread through it. I just kept the black laying on the seam line and sewed to the other end of the seam. I did chris cross over each thread until each seam was covered. It was quite easy. I wish you could have seen the middle point! It was perfect! The block technique was in Quilter's Newsletter Magazine and was so simple and accurate. I will use it again.

I've been so busy with packing, sorting and selling our home that my creative juices were dry. These two little mug rugs got me back in the swing and the creative juices are flowing again! Yay!

My quilt "The Doors" was accepted at the Denver National Show. I'm very pleased as this is my first "art" quilt to go into a show.

I check on all of you every day. Thank you for inspiring me and making me laugh!

Thanks Norma. My Janome also has a couching foot, but I didn't know you could "go over" like this. Definitely will try it. You might see this on some on my Muggies!

Congratulations, Geneva! "Tea for Two" was accepted, too, as was sewengel's quilt, so they can all play together at night when we're not looking! Are you coming to the show? Sharon and I are going on Friday. If you can't make it, I'll be sure to take pictures for you!
