Hope you're staying warm up there, Marilyn. I've just been golfing, putting blocks together in preparation for one grandson getting married toward the end of March, attending two days of the AQS show here in Phoenix, which by the way was wonderful, never been to one of the "big" shows before. It will be in Albuquerque, NM next January then back in Phoenix in 2016 (I hope!). And, enjoying an unseasonably warm winter here in Wickenburg (except for last week during our golf club championship rounds when the temps didn't get out of the 50's--whine, whine whine, and yes, I'd like some cheese with that whine). It was near 80 today--sorry those of you in the throws of winter. So glad to see this forum active again. And still haven't figured out why I stopped getting notices of activity. Ain't technology wonderful

Ritzy, one of them now has your name on it! Just need some finishing off.
I know I'm very quiet at the moment, but work is even more 'interesting' than normally, and I'm simply bushed when I get home. And I also admit that playing with my two little granddaughters is even more fun than quilting.

It's good to see some action on this blog!
Jane, we exchanged mug rugs last fall. Your was so beautiful. Thank you!
And, do you really live in Wickenburg? My parents were married there in 1956! My mom tells the story that they woke up the Justice of the Peace, asked his wife and some other guy from a nearby bar to be witnesses! Small world.
Take care everyone!

Thanks, Geneva. Yes, we live in Wickenburg from Nov 1 till early April when we go back to Williams (AZ) for the better part of the year. My husband is from Iowa and does NOT like cold weather so we come to the Valley for the colder months. It snows and freezes in northern Arizona--most people assume Arizona is all hot and full of cactus and sand--not so. It is a very small world. Your mom has a wonderful story to share with her children--made me smile as Wickenburg is still like that.

I have been absent for a while, so I missed Lois's message that I would have mail Tuesday. After a long, long day at work I came home to find the most gorgeous mug rug!!! Beautiful hand work! I am delighted. I will have pictures tomorrow, but for today~thank you, Lois! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
