I love it Geneva. Let us know what his reaction is. And thanks for the idea of mug rugs for our children too.
Yes, I know I still have the MRs to mail. I cleaned off the desk the other day and came across the addresses. I will try to get them in the mail, after this storm that is coming through today, gets cleared off the road. I did several new things making the muggys. I still need to get a two sided binding on one.

I'll be bringing my mug rugs to Scotland Maureen so you can see what everyone sent me

WOWSA...... my wee mug rug will travel to Scotland!

Geneva, your son's mug rug is gorgeous.

Rosemary, I will not start packing. Mind you, right now I'm a little frustrated. I have reached my first 'plateau'. Nothing moves. But I keep saying to myself: 'Relax, you stupid girl! Be happy with what you have achieved so far.'

I have a few more mug rugs started. They'll be ready for adoption between now and Easter.

Oh! Are they Easter muggies, Lorchen?
Don't worry about your slight delay (plateau), with warmer weather, you will probably get right back on track--unless, of course, you are eating too much chocolate

Ritzy, I gave the remaining Christmas chocolates to my sons about the 10th of January (can you see my halo?!). I'll continue to try my best. I just wish it would be a little easier. Sigh.....

By the way, I have an interesting 'event' coming up at the end of April. My daughter-in-law's sister is getting married, and I have been invited. A lot of the guests were also at my son's wedding about 2 years ago, before I started to loose weight, and they haven't seen me since then. So, at the beginning of April I will have to go shopping for an outfit (and maybe a new fascinator??). And before you ask..... I'll share a picture or two.

Ritzy, there are no bunnies or eggs involved in any of the 'mugs under construction'. There are a couple of vaguely oriental ones, a couple in typical Ritzy colours, and a couple for lovers of wine.

Thank you, Betty Jo! I haven't used the lift in school for about 6 months. I can cope with the stairs now. But the funniest thing happened a few days ago. I have a very small car (Vauxhall Corsa). I had been shopping, it was raining, and I wanted to get home. When I got to my car, I could not get in on either side. My little car was wedged between two very large 4-wheel-drive monsters. I did something that would not have been possible even 3 or 4 months ago: I opened the boot (trunk for you in the US), climbed in, squeezed myself across the back seats, wriggled into the driver's seat, started the engine and drove off with a very satisfied grin on my face.

My colors  ! I can't wait to see what you have done. I already have one of your beauties so I guess someone else will have to do the adopting.
