Matthew - you are not alone.
Wendy and Lorchen - glad your Mug Rugs made it across the pond!
BTW the butterflies can go anywhere, as they have a wee tiny magnet you can put on the wall, and then stick the butterfly to it. My bedroom has no framed photos or paintings, but just butterflies all over. The grandchilren always want to sleep in 'the butterfly room' when they come for a sleepover.
Still a few Muggies on my list - you are not forgotten.
My surgery is scheduled for this Friday. I was just given a second opinion, and that Dr. says he can be less radical than the others thought. I hope it works out that way.

Hi Renata -
I actually don't have a design wall, either. Not enough space. So I move things around and lay the blocks out on the floor and take pictures there. That's why you guys see my feet so often! I can't leave the blocks down there because of the pets, so I have to either sew everything together quickly or organize them into piles that I can put back into position with the help of my photos. We all learn to work with what we have, don't we?
So, if you lay out the blocks sometime, I'd LOVE to see pictures!

Terrie I shall be thinking of you and hoping less is more. Lots of hugs from here to use when you need them.
Matthew how big is your stash? I can't find the link but some of your friends on here ....   or are you already one of them
Your design 'wall' sounds fabulous Renata and so romantic. Mine is a covered chipboard pin board about 2 ft square

I will be thinking about you on Friday Terrie. I hope all goes well.
Robyn, another terrific mug rug from Renata, enjoy.
I have a wall hanging in my dining room that I cover with wadding and use that when I want a design wall. It works until it starts to swing about   but does the job. My sister put on a sleeve on some wadding that covers her sewing room door, she then has a door hanger that goes on the door frame and hangs it on that.
