Very beautiful work! The horse is reverse appliqued. What detail!! Here's the back, showing her lovely quilting:


She unfortunately accidentally set her coffee cup on the back so it's a little stained. :whistle: (LOVE how it looks! How creative!!)

I love Rosemary's mug rug for Nancy--can't wait to see mine, it hasn't arrived yet, even though it's been posted...

Nancy, about posting mug rugs in show-and-tell, I was just looking at the Quilt Gallery category, and there, there is an icon on the top right hand side that you click on to add a quilt. I have a sneaking suspicion that, when they wrote the code for this new website, they forgot to write in code to do the same for the show-and-tell section.... ops: Hope I'm wrong... it would also be helpful to have a HELP section that explain the various features of the website as well as how to do things....

For the backing I dyed up a length of cotton using tea, coffee, & hot chocolate and various mugs (it was even a nice sunny day :woohoo: ). This has gone onto all of the horsey muggies so far. The idea is all Benno's fault :P , when she mentioned that her DH suggested that we ought to send them with stains on them to encourage us to actually use them :whistle:

Perhaps if we set up a special thread so it would be easier for admin to find our list, and maybe publically check them off so everyone could see how things are progressing. That would probably sooth a lot of frayed clickitty-clicking.
