I sent the email photo of my quilt to Rosemary this morning and just now returned from posting the real thing this afternoon.



This box is going to Lorna. It contains two packages. One with Renata's quilt addressed to Maureen and the other containing my quilt addressed to Rosemary. I wonder how long it will take to get to Lorna. If you are next on the list after Rosemary let me tell you that time goes fast. I am so very happy to be done.

I'm running away to sea!... well to Sleningford on the River Ure with a canoe.
Lois, I am missing my x-ray glasses, so I cannot see it through the box, unlike Wendy, and the other picture hasn't come through to my 'puter.

Wow! I think that package arrived in record time. We received the package on wednesday. My DH posted them through the Royal Mail on Thursday. We left Thursday evening and are now in Aberdeen, Scotland! We have couple days here before heading to the Orkney and Shetland Islands. So excited to be here. It is beautiful. Now I wonder if there is a quilt shop to visit...

Hurrah for the US Postal Service! My local PO is great and when I send packages to my daughter out west they arrive just when they tell me they are going to get there. I am so relieved those packages arrive safely. Now for the next leg of the journey. I'll be eager to hear about arrival at their final distination.

Lois, Lorna and Renata,

Renata's quilt arrived safe and sound with me lunchtime today, the day after it was posted by Lorna (or her husband).
I haven't opened it. I will wait until my daughter comes home from work and let her know it is here then she can take it home with her, open it and put it out flat where all the quilts will go.

I have mine # 1, Limbania's # 3 and now Renata's # 5 back to me in Scotland. Only seven more to come and then we are all set for the CW exhibition :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Big sigh of relief!! I will have the final sigh when Rosemary posts having received mine. We are moving right along!
