I finally was able to start my reels quilt this past weekend. Hoping to pick up the backing this coming weekend since I just got a 40% off coupon from one of the local quilt shops.

I started to work on the reels quilt, or rather I should say doing spools, just a few so far, still hand quilting a wall hanging , then I need to star and quilting. My Dear Jane quilt. I am doing spools when my small day guild meets, and also my mini group meetings. It will take me quite a while to get all my reels into spools.

I did it! I finished my WotRoTT quilt. I posted it on the Show &Tell. Here is a picture. I finished it yesterday so I suppose I should call it my End of the World Quilt.

Wonderful Lorna! I love the scrappy backgrounds,adds so much depth! It's almost like an eye spy quilt ... With the needle and scissor hidden in the vine...so cute!

Do I see words quilted in the background patches? I think it might be our names?! Fabulous idea!

Yes, I do think my reels are calling louder to get pulled out and sewn...
