If they are on the design wall, they are further advanced than mine. It really is a heads up that we are getting to the stage that it would be nice to start importing some photos of finished quilts, or even just flimsys, so if you could try and move them a bit nearer to the top of your projects list it would be appreciated. We haven't actually discussed cutoff dates for when we decide to say the book is done and ready for publication.....yet.

Yours are further along than mine. Mine are still in the box. However I do have my background fabric. I am getting closer to it on the to do list.

Mine are still waiting for me to free up some time. I do have the background, and back fabric.
I have been trying to get my Dear Jane quilt top done before October, and hand quilting a wall
hanging by the end of the year. I had to stop and do a special quilt, will let you know when it
            gets done.

I have a little more than half of my spools made and hopefully will finish them in a few days. They are looking great.

Great job! Great inspiration! Hope you post a picture of the finished product.

The spool quilt is #3 on my list( and I have 2 sets, so that makes them #3 AND #4!) ...so I'm with most of those who haven't reely started yet!

If y'all remember, Ms. Bren posted the photo of her finished reel quilt on April 15!

                      see-quilts/show-and-tell-quilts/

And Rita posted photos of the sweet little quilts she made with reels!

I'm so far behind, I haven't even pressed open or removed paper on all the SoTTT's hsts.

Bren, just went to Show and Tell and saw your wonderful "spool" quilt--you probably have it quilted by now... sorry I missed it back in April when you first posted it! Love the colors on the border as well as the background fabric.

That was the whole intention, although because I call them a reel of thread - a spool is a different shape to my mind, and I was making sure that we didn't have any 'unfortunate' words coming from the title we became WOT ROTT for Winding on the Reels of Tangled Threads.
