If they are on the design wall, they are further advanced than mine. It really is a heads up that we are getting to the stage that it would be nice to start importing some photos of finished quilts, or even just flimsys, so if you could try and move them a bit nearer to the top of your projects list it would be appreciated. We haven't actually discussed cutoff dates for when we decide to say the book is done and ready for publication.....yet.

Yours are further along than mine. Mine are still in the box. However I do have my background fabric. I am getting closer to it on the to do list.

Mine are still waiting for me to free up some time. I do have the background, and back fabric.
I have been trying to get my Dear Jane quilt top done before October, and hand quilting a wall
hanging by the end of the year. I had to stop and do a special quilt, will let you know when it
gets done.

Great job! Great inspiration! Hope you post a picture of the finished product.
The spool quilt is #3 on my list( and I have 2 sets, so that makes them #3 AND #4!) ...so I'm with most of those who haven't reely started yet!

And Rita posted photos of the sweet little quilts she made with reels!
I'm so far behind, I haven't even pressed open or removed paper on all the SoTTT's hsts.

That was the whole intention, although because I call them a reel of thread - a spool is a different shape to my mind, and I was making sure that we didn't have any 'unfortunate' words coming from the title we became WOT ROTT for Winding on the Reels of Tangled Threads.Originally posted by twigletBeautiful quilt Bren, they look like wooden spools with lovely threads wrapped round them 8)
