Hey guess what everyone?! The postage is going up soon. Oops! Marilyn checked at the post office on the new price when she mailed hers. Looks like will be $5.25. So if you haven't already mailed yours please include check or cash for the new postage $5.25.
If you have already mailed yours please, please please, DO NOT waste a 42cent stamp to send me 30 cents. Totally not worth it.
Just when I thought all bases were covered...
Humbly yours,
Lorna

Hoo-ray ! My reels are on their way over the ocean !! I PMd both Rosemary and Lorna and
I inquired at the Post Office about the possible increase on the flat rate and was
told that they couldn't say exactly how much but it would be about $5.25 . So
I sent Lorna a bit extra. This has been great fun and I'll be waiting to see what
comes back to me. Like Margo, I have a couple extra red raspberry and tomato soup
reels of my own to use if I don't get one back !! Now, back to HSTs !

I just saw, on the news tonight, the stamp rate is going up on the 22nd also. Don't know about flat rate shipping.
Now to find out if I made group "C"? In the meantime, back to selecting fabrics.

"When you checked with the post office on rates did they give you what the rates would be after the postal rate increase? I know that the cost of letters is increasing on Jan 22 but I don't know if the cost to send packages is. I just don't want you to be shorted anything if the cost is going up.

Holy Cow, Thats a "LOT" of HST! WOW who had to do the sorting and dividing them up? What a job that must have been!
AWESOME!

My fabric is all washed and starched. Have an hour now until my boy finishes work, so the plan is to cut the strips and sew sew sew tomorrow. Getting these into the mail to go across the ocean on Monday! My claim to fame for this exchange, it is the first time I have managed to do something like this from my stash! Wooohooo!!
Now I hope I can sew straight.. thanks for all the tips from those who are far ahead of me!

I was a little behind on reading all the post on the exchange but I think I am all caught up.
I found out two days ago that I am signed up and have a number. Courtesy of my dear sister.
I am heading down to visit her next week so I guess we will be making ours together. That will be fun.
Love the reels you are all making. I have Edyta's book with the Spool quilt. Bought it by mistake when I was looking for her other book for the triangle exchange. I think it has turned out for the best don't you? I Edyta's Spool quilt. Can't wait to make it. Of course I need to put the finishing touches on my HST quilt. Almost done.

My first set is sewn. I am calling it Pumpkin Pie. My second set is starched and ready to cut. I think that one will be called Blueberry Pie. I am starting to get hungry. If the kids let me sew the plan is to get the reels in the mail on Monday. I wonder if I can convince them not to go to the park today, but that probably won't happen. Maybe I can convince them to make lunch and dinner so I don't have to.
I did not make an extra one for me. I will be thrilled with whatever I get back. If I don't get one of mine back that is OK.

My butterscotch set is done and I have two seams left to sew on my orange juice ones. Then I need to cut the orange ones and label all of them. That will not be done today as I have a full day starting in 45 minutes and I have some minor housekeeping to do and breakfast to eat before then. I'm really looking forward to what I get back!

I altered the spread sheet after this post, but the guarantee not to guarantee that you will receive one of your own patches back, still holds, especially if you only have one set.Originally posted by PosyPNumbering system - I am running 2 groups of 41's, 'a's' and 'b's'. I made up my spread sheet going 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b,.......41a, 41b. This does not mean that you will be swapping with all a's or all b's. Heck I don't even guarantee that you will receive one of your own patches back
In other words, if you send in 41, you will get 41 (various) back & If you send in 82 you will get 82 (various) back - simples.

I was just checking online to see if I could print the PS Form from my computer to fill out....I am way out in the country. That appears to be a pain but did get to look over the form and it asks for a phone number. I did not see where there was a phone number for us to include on this form. Will it be different when I go to town on Monday to send my reels, i.e. they won't ask for a phone? Thanks for the help. I have never used this form before or any others from PO for that matter!

The customs form I was asked to fill out did not require any phone numbers! :?:
You can have one of these sent to you here: https://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/sto...WT.ac=10000266
There is no charge for the form.
