I'm pretty sure I got my Ultimate Seam Guide from Keepsake Quilting. I have it on my machine all of the time, great help! I highly recommend it!Originally posted by romiraFinally came up with my color for the reels...it will be Green Tea.
We'll need something to drink with all the yummy Chocolate, Butterscotch,
Key Lime pie, etc.
Bought Margo's book as well. Where can I find the seam guide?

Or if you'd rather pay with a credit card instead of snail mail there are lots of online sites that carry it. It is made by C & T Publishing. I still don't have Paypal set up. Hope to get to that this year.Originally posted by MargoRoseanne, you can order Annis's seam guide from her web site! http://www.amc-quilts.com/AMC_Designs/Home.htmlOriginally posted by romiraFinally came up with my color for the reels...it will be Green Tea.

Thank you. If you've had it for several years you must have my old version. C & T didn't start selling them until March of last year. I've had several people tell me that once they put it on their machine they never take it off. Then I go on retreats and know some of the quilters there have one but it isn't on their machine. And others buy it and put it aside for awhile, because, well, it's just hard to get used to something new. Have you ever got a new sewing machine and kept using your old one for awhile because you didn't want to take the time to learn how the new one works?Originally posted by golfjaneOh, my gosh...I've been using this seam guide since I first saw them a few years ago. Now I can't sew without one on my machine--have one on both machines. Thanks, Annis, you clever woman!!!

If we send in 41 of 41, isn't it obvious we will get one of ours back?. I sure hope so. It seems easier, so I've been told, to just send them all in and then the sorters will re-group and send them back without having to check for which group belongs to whom etc. , and not include quilter X's strip set in her group. Then I thought everyone in group 'a' will receive from everyone else in group 'a', inlcuding yours back. The same for group 'b' and 'c'. No?

I think it's wise to Google oneself occasionally to see what's out there.
Many thanks for all your efforts on our behalf. Will get my blocks sent to you as soon as I can!
P.S. as to value...are we going mostly medium to dark or are light color reels OK?
Thanks. Good point about Google. I probably would not have posted if it had been a street address. This felt okay. I'll let you all know if I was wrong.

Just thinking about sorting 3 groups of 41 blocks makes my head hurt!!
I'm just going to be happy with whatever I get back!
Because I made my 2 sets from WOF cuts, I was able to cut 44 of each set,
so I have a few extra of my own, and am not worried about what I get back!
Also, FWIW, I have started prepping my applique pieces to do the border that Edyta designed!
Getting all those edges turned under (using Stable Stuff foundations) in preparation for machine applique with MonoPoly!
WHOO-HOO!!

1. I will provide the return envelope (free from usps.com), I wanted to use the Tyvex envelopes but shipping was a lot more expensive and varied by location. I decided Flat Rate was the way to go. Having the return envelopes ahead of time will allow us to sort as we go. (She is so clever!) These are flat rate envelopes that will ship anywhere for $4.95. I will buy return postage with money you send to me. I experimented last night and can make the return labels and buy postage all on line. This will save time at the post office window. REPEAT-- YOU DO NOT NEED TO SEND A RETURN ENVELOPE
2. When mailing your reels, you will have to complete a customs form at the post office since it is coming overseas. Inside your envelope you please include the following:
- reels in ziploc baggies, each baggy clearly marked with your assigned number and group (a,b,c)
- cash or check for $4.95
- completed customs form (PS Form 2976) that you put inside so I can use for return shipping. (Yes, a second customs form! One on the outside and one on the inside for me to use.)
- return address clearly printed so I can create labels/postage online and print out

When you checked with the post office on rates did they give you what the rates would be after the postal rate increase? I know that the cost of letters is increasing on Jan 22 but I don't know if the cost to send packages is. I just don't want you to be shorted anything if the cost is going up.

I thought group "a" would be sorted with group "b", and now with group "c" during the "sort" that Rosemary and Lorna would be doing. Otherwise, why would we need to make one for ourselves to include in the quilt we make? Or, maybe I'm just confused since its winter and its about 70 degrees outside, which is enough to confuse anyone.

20c here from Suffolk in UK..... My first exchange - so treat me gently.. I work in a QS and we are incredibly busy at the moment, so I am slow getting off the starting block.. but my colours are coming together and I have a day set aside next week to get them sewn..
Rosemary if the wheel falls off when you are ready to put your sorting hat on.... I have a son living near you so could offer some help if you needed it.
Have fun everyone...
Sew Long.
